Our vision
Our ambition is to provide everyone who decides to entrust their precious time to us with an experience of a lifetime. Our set-up and attitude are the same for both general groups and specialized photographic safaris: small groups (4-8 people) spending time with animals, getting to know their habits, behaviours and experiencing their daily lives. Watching large prides of lions, their morning and evening interactions, cubs play, male greetings, faith for domination or finally following the hunt can keep us occupied for days, leaving you with the uncut version of the popular programme Big Cats Diary.
Why with us?
Wild Encounter Safaris’ mission is to show you African wildlife in unspoiled habitats, as you’ve seen it on NatGeo or BBC Earth films… except better, closer and wilder. This is the uncut, raw version where you are a spectator in the most magnificent, 360° auditorium of African wilderness. A trip with us will leave you awestruck and hungry for more; regardless whether you’re an avid photographer or a first-time visitor, you’re guaranteed to experience wilderness from a slightly different angle to others.
Safari style
The common theme for our photographic and wildlife safaris is the focus on animal behaviour with empathy and respect for the environment; we do not chase after species just to ‘tick boxes’ of what we’ve seen. We do of course try our best to see and photograph key flora and fauna in the locations we visit, but first of all respect what nature brings in front of us every day.
