Botswana
INCREDIBLE WILDLIFE
Botswana, a landlocked country in Southern Africa known for its incredible wildlife, is our favorite safari destination in Africa. The landscape of Botswana is primarily defined by the Kalahari Desert and the Okavango Delta. Apart from vast, private concessions of the Okavango and Linyanti Waterfront, national parks and reserves such as Moremi, Chobe, Central Kalahari ensure that wildlife is protected from extensive poaching and trophy hunting, allowing visitors to see many majestic animals in their natural habitat. There are two key cities for travellers and tourists - Maun and Kasane - which operate local flights connecting camps of Kalahari and the Delta from the bigger, international airports of Johannesburg, Cape Town or Gaborone.
Tanzania
NATURAL BEAUTY AND DENSITY OF WILDLIFE
Tanzania is the ‘type’ destination for African safaris, with its diverse habitats and some of the most iconic places on the continent. From the shores of the Lake Victoria and Lake Tanganyika, to the beautiful sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean; from vast savannahs of the Serengeti and majestic views of Mt Kilimanjaro down to the little-known, yet fascinating National Parks, such as Ruaha in the south. One could say Tanzania has it all when it comes to a variety of wildlife and ecosystems. Its natural beauty and density of plants and animals, together with amazing landscapes, make it a top destination for every tourist.
Uganda
CHIMPANZEE AND MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREKKING
Uganda, a country in east Africa, also known as ‘the Pearl of Africa’ has one of the most diverse habitats; from the savannah of Kidepo Valley to the north, through snow-capped Ruwenzori Mountains and tropical forests of Kibale National Park, all the way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forests and Virunga Mountains in the south. It’s a country that’s emerged as a leader in wildlife conservation, enjoying recent years of peace and development, after suffering a violent history. Its capital is Kampala, which is near the international airport of Entebbe, served by many major airlines and only a 5 hour flight from Dubai airport.
