What to Expect?
Beautiful area of northern Serengeti in accommodation exclusively for our group! A maximum time spend looking for dramatci crossings of the Mara river.
We plan to spend a maximum amount of time in the field, looking for great sightings, understanding animal behaviour, spending time with wildlife rather than ‘chasing’ species.
We will leave our camp before sunrise, after coffee and a light breakfast, but will return to camps for brunch or as needed – flexibility in our schedule will be a key. It is not a bootcamp, but we also don’t won’t to miss amazing sightings.
While not everyone is a photographer, we will ensure that both, novice and advanced fans of photography, as well as the ‘iPhone shooters’ will have opportunities to capture amazing pictures and video clips.

Destinations and Wildlife at a Glance
The trip will take us to one of the most talked about African ecosystems in the world – the Serengeti National Park. We will visit an amazing Lamai wedge in northernmost part of the Park, close to Kenyan border and famous Maasai Mara Reserve. We will be there during the migration season, which means there will be higher denisty of tourists. However, September provides a bit relief from the usual crods of July/August and we shall try to find sighting completely to ourselves. Our camp (exclusive for our use) is located right next to the famous Mara river and also provides an easy access to fantastic plains of the Lamai wedge. We will spend time with lions, cheetahs and leopards which frequent the area along the Kenyan border and small kopjes on the southern side of the Mara (Kogatende). Opportunity to see serval also exists with some luck and careful approach. General game is plentiful and families of elephants, eland, zebras, giraffes roam freely. Hyenas are present everywhere and always provide some opportunities for interesting inter-species interaction. Massive crocodiles and hippos along the Mara river as well as possible river crossings by elephants, giraffes or other local species will also be our sighting target. Opportunities for amazing wildlife encounters and great photography will be countless and we hope to be there.
To maximize our experience in the Serengeti, we will fly from Kilimanjaro Airport and back via 1.5-2 hr, local flight.

Testimonials
‘A quick note to say thank you to the great photo safari I had with Artur in the Okavango Delta in December 2024. Not only Artur’s photographic knowledge but also his animal behavior predictions on the superb sightings were remarkable. That, with a clear communication with the drivers, made the trip very sucessful for everybody who had joined this trip.’
“In 2020 Irma and I joined Artur on a 16-day trip to Botswana. Due to the travel restrictions our Green Season trip had to be rescheduled three times but early July we finally traveled to Maun via Johannesburg. Initially it felt strange to be the only guests in most of the camps and this is how safari’s must have been many years ago. Thanks to the meticulous planning and attention to the smallest details by Artur, our trip to five different locations in the Kalahari and Okavango Delta was a great success and we arrived back home with more than 6000 amazing pictures and memories that will last us a long time to come. In Mai 2022 we will travel with Artur again but this time to Uganda to see the Big Apes.”
